Cheek Implants

Cheek implants make the cheeks look higher and fuller and create a nice symmetrical look for the face. The procedure is popular for both sexes and is often carried out on patients who need reconstructive surgery.

The surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and usually takes 2 hours per implant. Your surgeon will make a small incision either in the mouth or under the lower eye. The implants are then put in place and positioned as necessary. The implants are made of silicone or sometimes tissue from another part of your body is used.

Healing Time

The swelling usually goes down within a week but the final facial shape can take up to 3 months to appear. Following the surgery patients may have to wear a supportive brace during the night to help the healing process and ensure correct positioning of the implants.
