Chin Implants

Many individuals feel their chin doesn't look in proportion to the rest of their face or it is receding which creates a weak jaw line. An chin implant can correct this and bring confidence back to the individual.

The surgery usually takes approximately 2 hours and is carried out under general anaesthetic. The surgeon will make a small incision inside the mouth and will then remove some bone and reposition the area ready for the implant.

Healing Time

The swelling usually goes down within a week but the final facial shape can take up to 3 months to appear. Following the surgery patients may have to wear a supportive brace during the night to help the healing process and ensure correct positioning of the implant.
