Porcelain Crowns/Bridges

Crowns and bridges are used to cover damaged or unattractive teeth to restore an attractive smile.

When a patient has a gap between two teeth or multiple gaps between a number of teeth, the teeth maybe crowned and between the crowns a bridge unit placed looking like a natural tooth to fill the gap. Previously due to strength problems bridges always had a metal framework which causes problems with aesthetics and sometimes bio-compatibility.

New computerised techniques now allow the surgeon and technician to go metal free.
