Dental Implants

This area of dentistry has been advancing rapidly over the last decade.

A number of patients who have missing teeth can have these replaced by placing a dental implant in their bone similar to a raw plug in a plaster wall that when after placement has integrated with the patients natural bond can be used to attach crowns, bridges or dentures. This alternative also allows replacements of missing teeth without destroying the tissue of neighbouring teeth.
